Making its first Auckland visit since delivery earlier this month was LATAM's Boeing 787-9
CC-BGK MSN 38474. It touched down as LA801 from Santiago 29 May before making its Tasman crossing to Sydney and back and then embarked on the long journey home to Santiago.
The aircraft is obviously different from our regular LAN Boeing 787-9 in that it wears the livery of the merged airlines of Chile's LAN and Brazil's TAM.
CC-BGK first flew from Paine Field on 20 April and was delivered to Santiago arriving 14 May.
Its arrival saw the carrier's Dreamliner fleet reach 21 aircraft, 11 of which are the -9 with one more airframe due for delivery.
