A couple of amphibious foreigners to our shores have surfaced this week, although both have been in the country for several months now.
Firstly we have Cessna T206 Turbo Stationair II N26NZ (T206-08401). This stunning example arrived by container at Fielding wearing its previous identity G-OLLS. FAA records list N26NZ as "reserved" by Stuart Clumpas of Devonport, Auckland so hopefully we will see it in our skies soon.
Pictures of its previous colour scheme can be found HERE
Secondly we have the CubCrafters Inc CC11-160 Carbon Cub N47MV (CC11-00258). It has been at Ardmore receiving attention since March and is registered to Spitfire Ventures LLC of San Antonio, TX which in turn equates to Rod Lewis a.k.a. Lewis Air Legends

N47MV is operated from the super yacht "M5" which had arrived into the Ports of Auckland from Vanuatu on 01 March 2016.
