Air New Zealand's 3rd leased, and 18th Boeing 777, entered service 17 October 2018 when ex Singapore Airlines example ZK-OKJ flew the carrier's flight NZ175 from Auckland to Perth.
Boeing 777-212ER ZK-OKJ, registered just under a month ago, has arrived in Auckland 13 October after its delivery from Singapore as ANZ6018. It is understood the aircraft will enter service mid week.
Air New Zealand has registered another Boeing 777 on a dry lease basis with -212(ER) ZK-OKJ MSN 30872 turning up on the ZK register 18 September 2018. Like ZK-OKI, this machine has most recently been operated by Singapore Airlines where it flew as 9V-SVG and was withdrawn from service 01 June 2018 at the conclusion of flight SQ266 from Brisbane to Singapore. The aircraft is in the same configuration as ZK-OKI with 26 business and 245 economy seats.
