A sunny Saturday finally afforded Aucklander's a day that looked and felt like summer after an extended period of persistent cloud and cool winds. So the local aviation fraternity were busily putting their machines in the air providing ample variety in the Ardmore circuit 14 January.

The amphib was out flying again 14 January and last noted pushing eastward again, perhaps to conduct a water landing. |
