United States Air Force Boeing C17 Globemaster III 08-8208 arrived at Christchurch in the early hours of 12 July from points unknown however using the callsign REACH5E1 so potentially originated from Guam/Andersen. It then conducted an Antarctic supply mission with the aid of night vision equipment 15 July flying to/from Pegasus Field as ICE82. It departed Auckland in the early hours of 16 July for Guam/Andersen.

United States Air Force Boeing C17 Globemaster III
06-6156 arrived at Whenuapai in the predawn hours of 14 July from Honolulu/Hickam as REACH483. Its visit presumably to deliver support personnel and vehicles for the upcoming visit of United States Vice President Joe Biden to NZ next week. The C17 departed around sunrise 15 July on return to Hickam.
VP Biden is currently in Australia before reaching NZ and in anticipation of his arrival two USAF C17's arrived in the country 14 July.
00-0184 as REACH389 and
08-8195 as REACH388 made brief visits to Brisbane early in the morning before proceeding to Melbourne where they remained for the next few days. Both 00-0184 and 08-8195 arrived at Whenuapai late evening 18 July from Melbourne.

Another C17,
10-0217, arrived at Brisbane on the morning of 16 July from Hickam as REACH386 and it continued onto Sydney later the same day.
