The Royal Australian Air Force Alenia C27J Spartan A34-002 has spent the last several days static at Christchurch having arrived from Amberley and Ohakea on the evening of 07 June. Given the state of open panels etc in the accompanying photo one can only assume it went "technical" and needed some maintenance activity before heading home. It departed Christchurch for Whenuapai mid morning 13 June then continued across the Tasman to Richmond.
