The International Comanche Society 2016 get together at Queenstown over Easter weekend has concluded with the overseas participants gravitating home.
Piper PA30's VH-HPR and VH-MAC departed Kerikeri for Norfolk Island 28 March with VH-HPR making its way to Lord Howe Island and Bankstown 29 March while VH-MAC only made the hope to Lord Howe Island and then continued to Coffs Harbour 30 March.
Piper PA30's VH-MEG, VH-PBH and VH-TSJ all flew from Queenstown to Omarama and Omaka 27 March then to Taupo 28 March. The trio, accompanied by Piper PA24 ZK-BAZ, made their way to Kerikeri 29 March and were joined by Cirrus SR22 VH-SRI arriving from Napier and Lancair Legacy VH-LNZ which flew in from Omaka. The Comanche Tribe departed Kerikeri for Norfolk Island 02 April in conjunction with the other VH visitors however VH-LNZ pushed westward and ended up at Lord Howe Island overnight before flying onto Woolongong and Devonport 03 April.
The Tribe and their Cirrus friend flew to Lord Howe Island and Port Macquarie 03 April.
