Wellington based commuter airline Sounds Air has taken delivery of its latest Pilatus PC12 ZK-PLX with the aeroplane in full livery arriving in Auckland mid afternoon 02 April from the Gold Coast. Wearing its previous markings of VH-NWO, the PC12 was painted at Redcliffe by Flinders Aviation and positioned to the Gold Coast 01 April.
The aircraft continued onto Fielding and Nelson later the same day before heading back to Fielding after dark.
ZK-PLX is a 2001 edition PC12/45 with the serial number 396 and has spent the last 14 years flying for the Western Australia branch of the Royal Flying Doctor Service operating from both Jandakot and Kalgoorlie.
