New Zealand's first multi-role Leonardo Helicopters AW169 has been registered as of 02 August 2018 with Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust as ZK-HLH.
Wearing the manufacturer serial number 69082 and test registration
I-RAIR, the first of two AW169 flew last month wearing the corporate colours currently adorned by their fleet of Westpac sponsored BK117's operating from Auckland CBD heliport at Mechanics Bay. The new base for the two AW169's is yet to be determined following recent changes in the Mechanics Bay heliport lease.
